THE POSITION
The State of Connecticut, Department of Aging and Disability Services (ADS), Bureau of Education and Services for the Blind (BESB), is currently recruiting for a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (Blind) providing outreach to communities serving underserved populations and outreach to organizations. This position will require traveling and working with individuals who are legally blind or visually impaired.

SCHEDULE: Full-Time, 35 Hours per Week, First Shift, 8:30am - 4:15pm, Monday through Friday

A Master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling or a closely related field and one (1) year of professional experience in rehabilitation counseling, job placement of individuals with disabilities or vocational adjustment counseling.
